Drock OS Thomas Edition is a lite and modified version of Phoenix OS. It can be played on low-end, mid-range, and high-end systems. It comes in two versions:
- DROCKOS 32BIT THOMAS EDITION—Specifically for low-end PCs.
- DROCKOS THOMAS EDITION—Compatible with low-end, mid-range, and high-end systems.
Difference between the two:
The 32-bit version has lower compatibility, while the normal version is more compatible across systems.
Now let’s talk in detail about the differences between Phoenix OS and DROCKOS THOMAS EDITION:
- Compatibility:
Phoenix OS crashes with most apps, but DROCK OS doesn’t. DROCKOS is modified to run most games smoothly, and it receives constant updates. - Manual tweaks:
These are applied to reduce lag in games. It also includes several built-in software options not available in Phoenix OS. - Extra features:
DROCKOS includes the latest key mapping tool, whereas Phoenix OS does not.
It has no issues with Ethernet or Wi-Fi – unlike Phoenix, which often faces Wi-Fi problems after installation.
Differences between DROCKOS Normal Version and Drock OS Thomas Edition:
- The main difference is in updates.
Thomas Edition includes the latest updates, bug fixes, and a single kernel version that works well across most systems. - I have tested it on Intel-based systems.
